"We purchased this to help seniors find their way back home. The display is readable, the interface is ridiculously simple, but the directions are useless. The unit compensates for a poor gps receiver by using -any- signal at all. The direction arrow swings around the compass wildly from moment to moment, sending the walker north, then east, then north west, then south - sometimes looping in circles. It's utterly unreliable. The compass feature is almost as bad. Trying to contact Bushnell about it was so frustrating that I will never buy another Bushnell product again."

"I was shopping for a good compass and noticed this new product. Compared the price and decided that I could not go wrong. Works fine. I love the distance features. The direction arrow in the GPS mode is not correct but when you switch to the compass mode it 's great."
