It works, August 22, 2009

"I like the fact that this pen does not take up a lot of room. It will fit in a tacke box or a pocket with out any problems. My problem with this marker is that it does not work really well on black soft baits. The chartreuse does not show up well, and looks almost green on black baits."

Easily Custom-Color Soft Lures With This Marker!!!, May 3, 2009
By YazooBASSMaster from Yazoo City, MS (read all my reviews) (read all my reviews)

Advantages: Ease of use, Performs well, Quality, Value for money

"Sometimes, the factory color on a soft lure isn't enough. There are subtle differences in colors that can trigger strikes. The Spike-It Marker allows the angler to add custom colors to factory soft lures. With 2 colors & many color combinations to choose from, this marker is more than just a gadget; it's a tool to help anglers catch more bass. The added scent that the marker contains also helps fish zero in on a lure. I use both colors on my soft craws, due to the fact that the crawfish in our area have red & yellow stripes on their pincers. I also use both colors on worms to increase the visibility & to add a bleeding look to the lure. If you want to add custom colors to soft lures, get a Spike-It dip-&-Glo Marker. It could be the most important tool in your arsenal."
