An Embarrassment, August 10, 2009
By hjharju from Wyoming (read all my reviews) (read all my reviews)

Advantages: Ease of use
Disadvantages: Durability, Performance

"I bought this as a gift for a fishing captain in Mexico, because it appeared short, handy, indestructible, and it floated. Unfortunately this bat is thin, and it flattened substantially after a half dozen dorado(mahi-mahi). It was an embarrassment as a gift, and the captain went back to his ironwood bat."

Need to modify the bat, May 14, 2009
By AkuKiller (read all my reviews) (read all my reviews)

Disadvantages: Durability, Performance

"Too light weight. I had to drill the butt, drop in some lead shot, then foamed it so the shot wouldn't move around. Then it worked fine. Sealed the hole in the butt with Metal Epoxy."

"This thing is awesome! I hit a walleye 60 feet with this bad boy against a left handed pitcher! Trout are pretty hard to hit, but still Highly recommended!"
