"I read all the reviews on here for the different cap lights before purchasing this one. I wanted quality light, something solid in design, and something with a solid & firm structure/mounting surface. If you are looking for the same, then look no further. This is the best portable cap light for the money that you will find here or at any of BassPro’s competitors.
**Pros** 1. Solid design/firm mounting clips 2. Very Bright lighting! (I own the white LED version) 3. Compact size 4. Curved structure for men who “curve” the bill of their caps.
**Cons** 1. Strobe light mode. This feature is useless and annoying. Who is going to actually use the strobe light mode? Each time you turn on the unit it switches modes - from “strobe” to “on” each time you turn it off and back on again.
Other than that this provides amazing light considering the number of LED’s, size, and design!"

"I have had several cap lights and by far this one outdoes all of them for brightness. I would suggest that if you are looking for one this is the one you want its $5.00 bucks more but gives off $500.00 more light."

"This little light is the bombshidiggitty!! It lhas tons of uses. It is great on the boat, tying on lures, simple navigation (finding the correct distance away from shore), unhooking fish, using in rooms with poor lighting, around the campsite, walking back and forth to tree stands, or hooking up equipment in dark places just to name a few."

"This is a great light. I picked one up for my kayak night-fishing expeditions. It is LIGHT and small. It fits easily in the chest pocket on my shirt. When its on, it has about a 30 degree arc that is bathed in brilliant, focused black light. My flourescent line glows like neon all the way out tot he water. I can EASILY detect strikes or the slightest movement in my line.
For $15.00 you can't go wrong at all. If you are looking for a persoanl UV fishing light, look no further than this unit to satisfy all of your needs. Buy an extra pack of batteries while you're at it."
