"I fish in a northern enviroment and our opening day is April 15th we could still have snow and ice put is still cold. I have used these for two seasons now and love them, they keep the wind off your hands and still have the dexterity to bait hooks or re-tie a line, my hands never get cold even if you get them wet, they act just like a wet suit and they warm up to body temperature if wet.
great buy and lasts, the velcro system for the fingers could be improved but does work."
"The gloves have slits in them to allow you to pull your finger and thumb out to tie knots. This lets the water into your glove and your hands get wet right away"
"Very good quality & I like that I can fold back the thumb & index finger. This is useful when changing lures or tying knots.
The fleece helps keep your hands warm. I've bought neoprene gloves w/o the fleece & I can fish in cold weather for a short time. With these gloves I can fish longer & my hands stay relatively warm.
They are a bit expensive but that's the initial buy. You won't need any other gloves for winter fishing, I've used these when it was 10 degrees outside & my hands were comfortably warm. I don't like the slight thickness though especially when using a baitcaster."

"These gloves where almost completely water proof but the only problem I had with them is that the tips of the gloves that lift up are still hard to tie the line with or take a fish off of the hook. Other than that the gloves worked good."
