Bass Pro Shops XPS i 5/5/5 Charger, July 18, 2006
By RatherBeFishing from New Jersey (read all my reviews) (read all my reviews)

"I replaced a previously installed 2 bank charger 3 months ago with the XPS i 5/5/5 and am glad I did. I bought the ProMariner Cable extension kit (15') with it so I can have the convenience of having my starting and trolling batteries charged overnight all at once and without the need of using a portable charger.

Pros -
1. Solid, well made unit.
2. Clear and easy to follow instructions.
3. Great "Go Fish Indicator" feature.

Cons -
1. None !

I highly recommend this model and would buy it again.

The total installation time was a few hours since I had to remove a panel and drill a couple of holes to snake the extension cable kit to the rear starting battery. Easy installation overall though."

Not so happy with this product!, November 20, 2009
By HiTekRDNK from Virginia (read all my reviews) (read all my reviews)

Disadvantages: Performance, Quality

"Bought and installed the 4/4 back in January. Started noticing little things during the summer with it. Pulled it and my batteries out of my boats for winter storage (was going to use it as my trickle charger for all my batteries over the winter).

Everything looked fine when I first hooked it up, then checked on it later and all of the lights were flashing and batteries started loosing charge.

Sent it back to ProMariner, waiting to see what I will get back (new charger or repaired)!

I expected more out of something with the Bass Pro name on it."

YA WON'T GO WRONG, November 10, 2009

Advantages: Design, Features, High Quality, Value for money, ease of use to maintain your batteries

"Hey yall just bought the xps-i 5-5-5 series to charge my 3 batteries. 2 troll and 1 crank. Took about 30 minutes to wire in and just plug in the 110 cord and forget it. Came back in overnight and all three batteries fully charged. No more worries about overcharging or chargers cutting off early.A great way to keep them maintaned in between trips, with the go fish light you know your ready.Compact design although put it where it can get some air, unit gets very hot in the initial charge to get your batteries hot. Great info included,McFly proof. Glad i footed the extra bucks for the 3 bank. (good fishing)."

"Bought it when my old charger conked out. Got this on recomendation of my son. He has had his for about 3 years. This charger has worked flawlessly all year. I put it in my boat last spring and it has gotten heavy use. Installation was very easy as well."
