Disadvantages: Performance, Quality

"Instructions say to heat at 250 degrees F. for 2-4 hrs. until all the beads turn blue. I placed the beads on a cookie sheet as instructed and I can cook them forever and they won't turn blue. Sorry product!"

"I recently purchased a RedHead gun safe and figured I should have these in there to keep moisture out. I have not had any problems with it yet."

Worked as advertised, September 17, 2007
By Shooter

"I live in the Dallas area and we do have humidity. I saw other reviews stating beads turned blue and they are supposed to. It's when they turn PINK that you need to re-cook them and that happened to mine as advertised. So far, so good. My container did start to get a few rust spots from the high moisture, so plastic may be a better material to use."
