"This thing is just great. It is big enough to hold a lot of line, ( 50lbs suffix mono, w 50lbs seaguar fluoro leader) perfect set up i catch plenty of gags that are keepers, the rod can take the beating of the salt and wind, great from piers or out in the gulf/ocean. great strength, easy to use. I got the 6'6" slammer with the 4/0 113H 30-50lbs combo and its a little bulky at times but it gets the job done and thats what i want. It has great crank power, you dont have to play the fish out with this rod/reel just crank it in..it can take it."

"wow this rod and reel combo was awesome the second time i fished with it i caught a 3 1/2 foot reef shark on the atlantic. i reccomend trolling and bottom fishing with this combo the drag is loud so you know when u got a big one and the rod is so stur dy. it is the perfect combo!! i highly recommend it u won't regret it."
