Advantages: Ease of use, Style/Design, Value for money Disadvantages: makes too much noise when using braided line
"Ok I know I shouldn't dog a $40.00 rod too much so I will just list my only complaint. The Rods seem to make too much noise when using braided line, They cast well enough and have decent feel but the vibration using braided line will keep me from buying anymore of them."

"The rod seems and looks like a good deal but I would say its an average deal at best. I won this rod in a raffle and had heard some of the hype. Berkley seemed to get a decent blank (though most lightning rods always had this) and jazzed up the seat, but the went cheap on the guides. The guides aren't the best quality and need a few more on the rod. I understand they were shooting for a price point but spend a few bucks more and make a great rod."

"This rod is a fairly good rod, especially for the pricetag. It's not as sensitive as other higher end rods, but then again, sensitivity isn't something you'd expect for this price. One thing for sure is that it is a very strong rod. The only other con besides the sensitivity is the durability of the cork. It seems to fall apart a lot faster than higher end cork handles. Other than that, good rod for the price!"
