"This was the only braid i used all last season and i never had any problems with it at all. If you use the correct knots you'll have a hard time breaking this stuff off. The color does fade after a little while but its not that big of a deal if you use a floro leader. The price is a little expensive for a store brand but the quality is certainly there."

"Bass Pro Shops Excel braided line is the first braided line I have used that casts well and does not backlash as long as the reel settings are correct. It is relatively quiet, easier on rod eyes than most and casts quite a distance.
