Great all around rod, November 20, 2009
By Brooks from San Antonio, TX (read all my reviews) (read all my reviews)

Advantages: Ease of use, Performs well, Value for money
Disadvantages: Durability

"I use this rod for finesse fishing because of the sheer backbone that it has for hard hook sets. However, it has a very sensitive tip to feel every little tick and bump from a bass. I really like the "hump" in the handle, it feels very natural...and the rod is very light. The only complaint is that a little bit of the clearcoat finish on the rod is starting to wear off. I haven't really used and abused it, so I'm a little surprised about that...but still very impressed with the functionality of this rod!"

Great cranking rod, November 17, 2009
By WSB1 from Elysian Fields Tx. (read all my reviews) (read all my reviews)

Advantages: Ease of use, Performs well, Quality, Style/Design, Value for money

"Recently purchased the 7ft 6in rod in MH action. I used it to crank Strike King Pro crank baits in #4, #5, and #6 series. I paired it with a Bass Pro Shops Extreme reel with 12 Excell line from Bass Pro. The sensitivity and action of the rod was great. I used it during a recent tournament and ended up winning the team division. I was able to outcast my partner by 10 to 20 feet, which helped keep the bait in the strike zone longer. The price was right ,on sale for $49.95"

Can't Go Wrong!!, October 12, 2009
By RobinPS09 from Saint Hedwig, TX (read all my reviews) (read all my reviews)

Advantages: Ease of use, Performs well, Quality, Style/Design, Value for money, light, geat backbone, fast action tip

"Had trouble finding a good crankin' rod that was "comfortable" to use, until now, as in the past my crankin' rod felt heavy and "thumpy" when I casted it, but that problem is gone. This rod is light, has a great back bone, and a fast action tip to help with those hook ups."
